Hello Beth. Well this time yesterday I had got everything set up and sorted ready to join you all and to say I would definitely be needing a pitch and was getting excited

but yesterday afternoon we noticed on our dog what looks like a growth at the base of the back lower teeth. I managed to get him to the vets this morning and they have said it is suspicious and needs removal and sending for histology. The first available appointment for surgery is Wednesday 3rd July as he needs a weeks course of a medication before they can do the surgery.

They have said they may need to take one or two of the teeth and a larger piece of the gum around it. I don’t think he is going to be well enough to leave him with friends on the Friday and over the weekend. I am so upset as he is such a treasure and such a beautiful gentle boy. Trying to be as positive as we can that it is just a benign growth.

I am so sorry as I was really looking forward to the weekend and to meeting you all 🥺🥺

I really hope we can sort another meet up??

Dear all, just one week to go! I’m really looking forward to meeting you all.

I’ll be taking my drum (do please bring yours), and hiring a fire pit. I haven’t ‘organised’ any group activities, as it will be a chill-out weekend. We can go up to the stones and drum, just sit around and chat, or make a group decision to do stuff while we are there – any ideas will be welcome 🙂

There is now a basic ‘camp shop’ in the barn at Sentry, selling bread, milk, fresh eggs from Derek’s chickens, plus ice creams and other bits and bobs. This is mainly being looked after by a lovely lady called Ronni, who is based at Sentry for the summer – and be warned, she also has a gazebo full of gorgeous clothes for sale (Witchcrafter HippieShed on Facebook).

I’m planning to bring a drum so that’s fantastic. LOVE some group drumming. A chillout weekend sounds perfect.

If anyone coming doesn’t have a drum but would like to do some drumming, I have a couple of extra all-weather Remo drums I’m happy to bring along.

I’ve just looked at the weather forecast and it doesn’t look too bad. There will be some showers but doesn’t look like a total washout. I was going to stay until Monday, but that looks like the worst day and I don’t fancy packing up in the rain so I will probably slink off on Sunday with most of the rest of you. I’m bringing 2 of my waterproof Remo drums for me and @Galina – reindeer can stay home in the warm and dry. @Beth I wondered how sheltered the site is, or not as contemplating whether to bring my Coleman event shelter gazebo as a sitting space. I won’t if the site is likely experience high winds – it blew away in Wales a couple of years ago and was quite a job to rescue it from where it lodged in a group of white poplar! Looking forward to seeing you all Charlotte

Hello, This all sounds amazing. I may just be able to say hi, as I’m camping with my partner. We are planning to do park run on Saturday morning and some walking in moors. Although my partner is also in meditation, nature and the shamanic philosophy I understand it’s a meeting just for the Raven students, therefore I understand this may not be appropriate for us to join together. But it will be nice just to meet some of you, put a name to face and maybe the next get together, I will leave my family at home and come on my own 🙂
